A happy ending and a new future

My final story at WESH yesterday was covering the religious runaway case.

I couldn't pick a better story to end on. I got to interview the mother's attorney and got the 17 year old girl on tape saying how much she loved Jesus and how she feared for her life if she was to go back home to her Muslim parents in Ohio. As soon as I figure out how to post audio from my digital voice recorder I will post it.  At the case I met some great new friends/contacts. So I decided to invite them to my " Farewell WESH" party. They actually came! They even brought wine! When I was driving out of the parking lot I saw the WESH truck in my review mirror as I followed my new friends to dinner, I smiled because though the future is unknown, I trust God to put me in the right places at the right times.

My dear friends Connie and Mark ( who used to be my favorite customers at Johnny Rockets) are going to help me get a press pass so I can cover the arraignment of the case on September 3rd! Isn't God amazing! All things work together!

My farewell party couldn't have gone better! Such a variety of people but some how everyone hit it off great! 

Today I am going to work on a video for a job I am applying for. Monster.com has this great program called " making it count" where they go to high schools all over the country and talk to kids about the importance of going to college. My girlfriend Lizzie is letting me borrow her camera. Isn't she sweet! If I get the job I would be talking to kids about how to pay for college. I pray that God will let them see my heart and I will get to encourage some kids to follow their dreams.
